Ok, now that my little fit is over I do have some new things to show off.
Went into Walgreen's today to wish my
First up is some LA Colors that was in the $1 bin.
LA Colors Nectar (L) & Cotton Candy (R)
Swatched on the nail wheel, Nectar dries to a satin shimmer while Cotton Candy looks like it will be very sheer. Probably would use that one over another color.
The next four are the usual suspects.
Wet-n-Wild Miami Spirit, Revlon Tantalize, Sally Hansen Drama Sheen & Over the Rainblue
I ended up with the Wet-n-Wild because another lady had it to buy but decided not to take it. While I waited for my turn to check out, I kept eyeing it. I'm a sucker for teal colors right now and this one is really pretty. Dries mat with a light blue shimmer.
I also picked these up to try.
Kiss Nail Dress in Gown
I've never tried using them before and thought of using one for an accent nail.
Then I got home and found that this had been delivered.
OPI Alcatraz Rocks
I had resisted the textured polish thing until I tried the L'Oreal Gold Dust line. Then I kept seeing this on everyone else and decided it had to be in my collection. At first I thought I had a dupe for L'Oreal's Sexy in Sequins but Alcatraz has some different colors in it. Can't wait to wear this one.
As for what I'm currently wearing...
Sinful Colors Gilded on top of Sally Hansen Angel Wings
Showing a bit of wear at this point but no chips - I've had this on since Wednesday night. Aside from the two coats of base coat and two coats of top coat, there are 6 total coats of polish - 2 of Angel Wings and 4 coats of Gilded. I started out with 2 coats of Gilded then decided I wanted more of the gold shimmer to come out and so added 2 more coats. I've tried every which way to capture that gold but just can't seem to do it.
The lovely gold just doesn't want to make an appearance. But trust me, it's there and very festive looking.
I'll have more to post later. I'm off most of Christmas week and so hoping to get a lot more done. Until then, thanks for reading, stay tuned and have a very, Merry Christmas!
