Here's the last alteration I did - a coat of Sally Hansen Take The Leap, which is a sheer lavender shimmer with blue and magenta micro-glitter so it has quite the purple sheen to it. Very pretty top coat but I believe it could be built to opacity in probably 3 or 4 coats. I do love what it did to The Green One.
Here's with flash...
I see a bit of tip wear on the pointer finger and maybe a bit on the middle but the others still look as if I just put this on. It was really hard to make myself take this one off but it's even harder to swatch over polish that's already on the nail so off it came.
On a sort of non-nail related note, I got new glasses yesterday. I say it's sort of non-nail related because the new glasses are so perfectly calibrated for close-up work that I no longer have to hold my nails close to my eyes to polish and do clean up. I can actually rest my hand on the desk and still see what I'm doing. Distance vision isn't so great so I will still have to wear my old ones to drive until I can afford a second pair just for driving because I don't want to do anything to the new ones to take away the sharp vision I'm getting when working on the computer or doing my nails.
Also, I stopped by my local Walgreens on the way home from work last night and found something new from Sally Hansen - Color Foil. There were 10 on display and I picked out 5. Sinful Colors also has some new colors out, a lot of new colors, actually, and I picked up 5 of those as well. I'll have swatches of all coming up over the next couple of days. Meanwhile, I'm putting the finishing touches on my tape manicure design and will be doing that one for Memorial Day next weekend.
