Bright and Beautiful Corals

Hello, all. I've decided to start swatching more from my stash in addition to bringing you the new things I find. This post is first in a series on different color families.

Today I have for you a small collection of corals - 4 creams and 1 shimmer.

l to r: Sinful Colors Soul Mate & Island Coral, Sally Hansen Coral Reef,
Sinful Colors Daredevil (the shimmer) & Eva So Bright

Let's take them in order and look at Sinful Colors Soul Mate first. I would call this a neutral coral cream.

Sinful Colors Island Coral is next. I've shown this one holo-fied here but forgot to get a picture of it un-holo-fied so here you go. This one is more pink leaning cream than Soul Mate and it's a bit brighter.

Next up is the Sally Hansen - Coral Reef - a really bright, pink leaning, coral cream.

Now for the shimmer, Sinful Colors Daredevil - pink coral base with a purple shimmer. This one dries to a semi-matte finish. It is a bit on the sheer side - this is 4 coats and you can still see some nail line. Might try this one over a complementary base.

Finally, here's Sinful Colors Eva So Bright and bright Eva definitely is. Darker than the rest and brighter as well. Eva is also a cream.

For someone who doesn't normally like creams, I've got quite a few and these are just some of the corals in my stash. I love corals because they are so feminine looking and when holo-fied, even more impressive. Island Coral is the only one I've holo-fied so far, though. But give me time. I tend to holo-fy everything so I'm sure you'll be seeing these holo-fied at some point in the future.

Thanks for reading an stay tuned.

Penny
