Well, I had to remove the polish from yesterday. I had used a different base coat I discovered while cataloguing all those little bottles. By the way, I had forgotten 18 minis from a limited edition LA Colors collection. That makes a grand total of 766 polishes that I own.
Anyway, this base coat failed me. The polish started chipping on my way to work this morning. Actually, chunking would be a better term. By the end of the day, all but two nails on my right hand were chipped and the thumb of my left hand.
Then there was the other reason. I decided I didn't like it. The lovely turquoise shimmer completely disappeared in the light of day and was barely visible in direct sun. For most of the day, it just looked black. I did manage to see the purple shift while sitting in traffic on the way home but only with my sunglasses on.
So, off it came and, after considering my considerable options, I decided to put one of those LA Colors minis to good use. I will have to find this one in a full size bottle, if I can.
This is LA Colors Color Craze Golden Treasure.
I have wanted to wear this one since I bought the collection. I love everything about it. The base color, the gold shimmer - what's not to love?
I will try yesterday's polish again but I think I'll use a shimmer top coat on it and treat it like just a black polish.
That's all for today. Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
