Sally Hansen On Pines and Needles with Darling Diva Ringer on top

Finally posting this. I was waiting to do a swatch of the base color for this manicure since I didn't think to take a pic when first did it.

Sally Hansen On Pines and Needles is a dark, forest green base with a soft, blue shimmer.

Quite pretty on its own but I used this color specifically to top it with Darling Diva Ringer.

Ringer is very close dupe for Clarins 230, the holy grail of polish because, as I've heard, it can shift through all the colors of the rainbow and more. The only color range that Ringer doesn't shift through is blue. At least, I haven't been able to catch a bluish flash long enough to be sure I've actually seen it. In spite of that, I love that Ringer has so many different sides - red, gold, green, bronze. Have a look for yourself.

I have some blues that I want to put ringer over. I'll post those when I do.

One more thing, because my July 4th manicure was such a disappointment, I went in search of the Sally Hansen Extreme Wear polishes that I've seen work in other marbles. Couldn't find the exact red but I did find one I thought would work. Once I got them home, I marbled the middle finger. Still can't figure out how to keep the white from turning pink from the red but at least the marble came out better. I then put Starshine over it and had me a holofied Independence Day manicure.

That's all I have for today. I'm planning a marble using the Extreme Wear colors Sally Hansen has mistakenly 'improved', only mine are the originals - Mellow Yellow, Coral Reef and Pacific Blue. I even picked up an extra of Pacific Blue. Hoping to have that post up tomorrow.

Until then, thanks for reading and stay tuned.
