Got my hands on something oh, so sparkly.
Revlon Holographic Pearls is meant to be a topcoat - one of their new Transforming Effect topcoats, but I decided to see what it looked like all by itself. Two coats are still sheer with some nail line visible but I love how this looks. The sparkle is just amazing. Coarse holographic glitter gives more of a scattered explosion of rainbow colored sparkle instead of a linear rainbow but just as pretty. Like wearing diamonds on your nails.
As usual, the camera doesn't want to cooperate. Too sparkly apparently but at least you can see a glimpse of the beauty of this polish with the blurred parts of the pictures.
And and here's a super blurry one for you.
Formula is pretty normal for a glittery polish. A bit on the thick side but still workable. Dries a bit slowly, especially with two coats so I used a coat of Out The Door on top.
I had originally just planned to wear a couple of coats of a clear polish then remembered I had this. I love the look of a holographic topcoat over clear polish.
Got a busy weekend ahead of me. I'm attending a sci-fi/fantasy writing conference online and I have two writing assignment due Sunday. However, I'm sure I'll be ready for a new paint job come Monday. I'm looking at a gorgeous blue holographic from I Love Nail Polish as I write this.
Until then, thanks for reading and stay tuned.
