The Babe Blue and Lacey Lilac mani wore so well that on Thursday, I decided to put a holographic top coat over it. I chose the one from Smokey Mountain Lacquers and used a single, thin coat. This gave me a spatter of holographic sparkle while allowing the colors to shine through.
I added a coat of Orly Won’t Chip. It was early enough in the day that I figured the nails would be well dried by bedtime.
I’m very impressed with the lasting power of these polishes. I suppose capping the top coat probably helped, but I do find that the cheaper, drugstore polishes tend to last longer on me for some reason.
That’s is for today. Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
