Boxycharm is a monthly subscription beauty box. Cost is $21 per month and you receive 4-5 full-sized luxury products. I have to say that this box is a real winner. At least for July. Let’s take a look.
The mailer is quite pretty.
There’s even a cute message on the side as you open it up.
The card describes the items, provides tips as well as the cost of each item.
And you can already see the true value of this box right here but I’ll continue on.
First, the MDMflow Greater Than Volumising Mascara.
The color is not on here but is most definitely black - anyone else having a little deja vu here? Oh, that’s right. I spoke about this in my post for my Sunday face. Well, it’s worth revisiting since I didn’t tell you everything about this wonderful stuff. And it has the spoolie type of brush that I prefer.
As you can read on the card, this mascara is being introduced to the states through Boxycharm and will retail for $35 once it’s here. Definitely worth it as far as I’m concerned. This doesn’t clump up my lashes in the slightest even with two coats. Just my lashes only darker. I love this one and won’t bat those lovely lashes at shelling out $35 for it, either.
Now let’s take a look at that brush. It’s a professional blush brush from Vasanti.
This brush might be intended for blush but I also found it good for powdering smaller areas of my face as well as bronzer. It didn’t shed and considering it goes for $29, it absolutely shouldn’t.
Next, Your Minerals Sweden Transparent Veil setting powder.
This is a silky, white powder but does blend out to a sheer and slightly bright finish.
I have used it on my face without looking ghostly. It would also work well to set under eye concealer. It goes for $26 for the medium full-sized option, which is what I received.
Let’s take a look at the Gorge I’ll Make You Look Amazing Daily Spray.
This is a leave in conditioner that does exactly what it says. I have used this twice since I received it and I love what it does for my hair. Well worth the $29.95 you’ll hand over for it.
And last but not least, an eyebrow pencil from Ofra in the shade Universal.
I think the idea behind the color is that it can be used by anyone with any hair color. After seeing it, though, I thought I’d never be able to use it. However, I did try it and really liked how my brows looked. What I normally use gives my brows a slightly reddish look, which is fine since my hair can look slightly reddish. Using this brow pencil left my brows looking less reddish and more brunette. Once I blended it out with a brow brush, it looked really natural. I was quite surprised. The cost for this is $13.00.
Have you added all that up yet? If not, I’ll just tell you. The total value of this box is…$132.95. And I only paid $21. For all this goodness.
Wow. Well worth it. So much so that I went for the yearly subscription and saved some additional funds. If you’re looking for a monthly box, look no further than Boxycharm. Definitely up there on my list.
That’s it for today. Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
