Reviewed: November Glossybox

Happy Monday!

I've got the November Glossybox for you today.

There were 3 full-sized products in this month's box. I'll start with them.

The one you notice right off is one of those sheet facial masks from a Flora-py.

I have yet to try one of these sheet type masks. I'm thinking they will be easier to use and much less messy. From my research, these types of masks are very popular in South Korea and are starting to become popular here in the United States.

The benefits of using a sheet mask as opposed to the kind we are used to is that the sheet itself helps keep the treatment product on the skin without evaporating. I have two of them now, including this one, and I'm looking forward to trying them out.

One downside - they seem to be more expensive. This particular one sells for $8.00 - for a single sheet. The other one I have came out of another subscription box and it sells for $14.95 for a single mask, which makes this beauty splurge one I'll only enjoy when it comes in a subscription box.

The second full-size product comes from Marsk.

This is one of their mineral eyeshadows in the color You're Toast and this tiny little package holds a lot of sparkle. I have two others, both in the same shade - Vanilla Frosting. A little too sparkly for daytime, I think, but perfect for a night time look. If used sparingly, this might even serve as a way to warm up the face and give it some sheen.

You get 1.2 grams in the full size and it sells for $22.50.

The final full-sized product is a creamy lip pencil from Beauty for Real.

yes, the nails are back to nubbins - long story

This is the Universal Definition Lip Pencil that can be used as liner with any color of lipstick - so it seems. It is a rather neutral shade so they might be right.

It goes on very creamy and blendable. As an overall lip color, it matches my lips so well that it doesn't look like I'm wearing any color at all. It will be great for a neutral balance to a bold eye.

The selling price on this is $14.

Now for the samples.

The first one is a face cream from Estee Lauder.

This cream is very thick and feels rich - a little too rich for my face despite the dryness of my skin so I'll be passing this one on to my Mom. It has a light scent to it.

The full size is 1 ounce and sells for $50, making this .17 ounce sample size worth around $8.50.

My favorite product out of the box is the deluxe sample size of a hand cream from Crabtree & Evelyn.

This luxurious hand cream contains plenty of good ingredients to moisturize and treat your hands to the care they really need. The scent on this is in no way overpowering. Just a light, clean scent. Formulated without mineral oil, parabens, propylene glycol or sodium lauryl sulfate, it sinks in fast and doesn't leave any grease behind.

It comes in several sizes, including this deluxe sample size, which sells for $9 on the Crabtree & Evelyn site. So, I guess I could consider this one a full-sized product as well. The other two sizes are 100 grams for $22 - which is on sale right now for $14 - and 250 grams for $32 - this one comes in a pump bottle.

The total value of this box ends up being around $62. The monthly cost is $21 and you can go here to sign up for one of your own. I highly recommend Glossybox. I've been rarely disappointed with the products I've received.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned.

Penny
