Nails: Ellagee We're Not Crazy

Happy Hump Day!

December boxes have yet to begin arriving. I am expecting some pretty special ones this month and hope there will be more than I already know about. I'm also ready to share the first of what I hope to be several seasonal manicures.

I already have one, very special seasonal appropriate polish - A Thousand Christmas Trees by Literary Lacquers. I'll have to dig through the stash to find it, though. While I have done some organizing of the makeup collection, the polish stash is still on the scattered side. Turns out, Helmers only hold so much and since the two I have must not be out of the more sturdy versions that were first available, I hesitate to load them up with polish bottles.

In the meantime, I did find something a little more close at hand.

This is Ellagee We're Not Crazy.

This polish was created to benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness. It's a gorgeous forest green holo. More scattered than linear but does have a blue and gold flash at certain angles and was very hard to photograph. Dazzling both the camera lens and my eyes. Very mesmerizing. Also very much the perfect color for the season. Reminds me quite a bit of A Thousand Christmas Trees.  I'll have do a comparison once I find ATCT.

Formula on this was good, as was dry time. I used two coats of Orly Bonder underneath two coats of polish with one coat of Out The Door to finish it off. The holo really popped when I put on the top coat.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
