Reviewed: December Ipsy Glambag

Happy Wednesday!

I have the December Ipsy Glambag for you today.

I really like the bag itself this month.

Looks like quilted patent leather in a very Christmasy red color. The zipper pull is so cute.

The bag is also a bit smaller this month but was still large enough to hold lots of awesome goodies, two of which are full sized. Starting with this.

This is Nudie Red from Pacifica Natural Minerals. More nude than red. It's definitely my color.

This full sized product sells for $10. Glambag paid for! The rest is icing on this particular cake.

The other full sized product is an eyeliner from Be A Bombshell.

Black, naturally. This one is called Wild Child. Not particularly creamy but will do a nice smudge.

This sells for $14.

Two deluxe skincare samples are also in the bag. This one, a hand cream from Peter Lamas will quickly become a favorite.

The scent is so fresh and lovely. Very citrus-y. Lots of good moisturizing stuff in this including shea butter and glycerin. The lovely scent comes from lemon peel and orange oil with a little bit of lavender thrown in. I love this and will probably order the full size next year.

Speaking of full size, the full size of this is 4 ounces and sells for $21. I received a 1 ounce deluxe sample, which would be worth around $5.25,

The other sample is also interesting. It's a serum from Caudalie.

This one is a lot more expensive for the full size. It contains grape water and grape juice along with citric acid and squalane. Lots of good skin benefits from these ingredients - according to the information I found online, anyway.

The full size is 30 ml and sells for $49. This 10 ml sample would be worth around $16.33.

And finally, a cute bottle of nail polish from Formula X by Sephora.

This is Revved Up, a gorgeous champagne gold metallic. Formula is excellent and the polish dries pretty quickly to a satin finish. This the first polish I've tried from Formula X and I'm sold.

A full size is normally 0.4 ounces and sells for $12.50. this is just 0.13 ounces and is worth around $3.50.

Total estimated value of the December Glambag comes out to $49.41, making Ipsy one of the ones I would seriously consider keeping once my year is up. The monthy cost is $10 and you can sign up for a yearly subscription for $110. If you would like to receive your own Glambag every month, you can go here to sign up.

Two more boxes to go for December - still waiting on Boxycharm, though. Haven't gotten a shipping notice yet so I'm not sure it'll get here before the end of the month. I normally have it by now but with all of the holiday shipping, it's probably going to be late.

That's is for today. If I end up not posting on Friday, I want to wish everyone who celebrates a very Merry Christmas.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
