How about something completely different for a rare Friday post? Let's talk about some chocolate. I saw this in a YouTube video and decided to give it a try.
Chococurb is a monthly chocolate subscription box. There are two sizes available. The mini goes for $20 a month and you get at least 3 gourmet premium chocolate items. There is also a larger box called the classic that goes for $35 a month. The classic contains 5-7 chocolate items. I got the mini to start with but I will be upgrading to the classic for future boxes. You can specify the type of chocolates you prefer but each month will be a surprise.
The box is the same color and about the same size as the Beauty Box 5 box, so I thought that box had finally arrived - it's late this month. But I was very happy to see it was Chococurb.
Comes wrapped in red tissue with their signature sticker holding the paper together.
looks a bit orange here but it really is red
And the chocolate...
So, let's go from small to large, shall we?
The green box holds two dark chocolate coated truffles with an awesomely delicious soft filling. These are from a brand called Evolve.
Did I mention that these are awesomely delicious? The blueberry flavor is predominate here. That's what I noticed the most. And it's rich and smooth and just melted in my mouth.
The next thing I tried was the Fireweed Honey in Dark Chocolate from Gusto.
This is a solid chocolate bar with a pretty design on the top.
Looks kind of like a puzzle, doesn't it? But I didn't take the time to break them apart to see if they made an entire picture. Too anxious to try the thing.
I thought the honey would be a type of filling but it's not.
That is solid, dark chocolate right there with a delicate honey taste.
And finally, the largest. Also a chocolate bar, Orange Passion from Vivra.
Nice little segmented rows that break apart easily.
This is also a solid piece of chocolate with visible slivers of orange peel and a deeply orange flavor.
I am more than a little partial to any orange flavored chocolate so this is right up my alley. Other ingredients include passion fruit powder and sea salt.
While I love all three, the orange has to be my favorite, hands down. But I'll be checking to see if I can get larger sizes of the other two as well.
I'm battling respiratory issues right now - what else is new? So I'm not sure if I'll have anything new for Monday. Although, I do have some new skin care products from Paula's Choice that I am loving right now. Might share those with you for Monday if I get the energy to work over the weekend.
Hope your day is going well. Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
