Since I've had some time off, thought I would check in with another gorgeous polish from Julep.
This is Alexandria.
Alexandria is one of those polishes blessed with multiple personalities. In the bottle, she appears to be a deep rose with a bit of purple flash. And yes, she does dry matte but I prefer shiny polish so...top coat required for me.
The above pics were taken with only the light from the sunlight lamp I have on my desk. With flash, Alexandria takes on a quite a different personality.
Here she comes across a bit more on the pink side with silvery sparkles. The sun, though, is where the full beauty of this polish shines - pun intended.
She turns a tomato red and there are multicolored sparkles all over the place. Adding a blurred pic just to drive that particular point home.
Now, Alexandria did thicken up as I used her but I think that might just be typical for Julep polishes. However, a quick shake during the process seems to help. The trouble is definitely worth it.
That's all I have for this post. Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
